What does it mean to “shine on diamond?” Well, it can be interpreted in many ways. The first part, “shine on,” I took from a Pink Floyd song that was once sang to me, by a guy I fell in love with at one time in my life. The second part is the “diamond” which is as we know it, a rare, adored and precious gem.
But to further define “shine on” I did some research on the web:
“It means to keep on smiling and be a good person. The sunshine has long symbolized light and happiness and was worshiped for thousands of years for its life giving properties.
When someone says “shine on” they mean you are a ray of light in what they consider an otherwise dark and dreary world.
Many religious sects believe in souls and auras. They say good souls shine extra brightly. They call it your “inner light.”
It’s definitely a compliment.
It could also mean they like your smile. However, in this instance, I think they mean you have an overall positive glow about you as a person.”
As for the “diamond” aspect. Trust me, I don’t think that highly of myself, but I know for certain, that I am a unique and special person…rare at best if you will.
So if you know the identity of this blogger, you know this name is suiting.
